Accomodation Terms and Conditions

Payment

Payment must be made in advance of staying.  An invoice will be provided following confirmation of booking, and payment made by Direct Credit or Credit Card transaction.

Rooms are held for 7 days following invoicing, and then released unless payment is received within that time. Bookings made within 7 days of the event require payment made same day to secure.

Currency & Goods and Services Tax

All prices are quoted in New Zealand dollars and include Goods & Service Tax (GST) as indicated.

Room Arrangement

Standard Bunk Rooms

Sixteen 4-bed bunk rooms, each with private en-suite bathrooms including shower, toilet and vanity unit are located in the main conference facility. 

There is a choice of single or twin-share occupancy options.

Beds include full linen (pillow, sheets, duvet and towel)

A communial lounge with tea & coffee making facilites is availalbe (which is where the self-serve continential breakfast is available each morning).


Self-Contained 1-bedroom Apartments

Note: Fully Booked - no availability

Two self-contained 1-bedroom apartments are available. Apartment unit 1 includes a double bed, and Apartment unit 2 has twin single beds.

Each apartment include an en-suite bathroom with shower, toilet and vanity unit, and a separate living area with kitchenette, including cooking facilities.

Full linen is included (pillow, sheets, duvet and towel).

Clothes Washing & Ironing Facilities

An guest laundry room is available with coin or token operated washer and dryers ($3 cost / load).

Ironing facilities are also available.

Not included

Note that there is no television and Internet WIFI is not included.

Cell Phone Coverage

Good Spark cell phone coverage can be obtained on-site.

Unfortunately, Vodafone reception is patchy.

Changes to Reservation & Refund Policy

We know that sometimes your plans can change for many different reasons. If you need to cancel your reservation for B & B at Capernwray, please let us know as soon as possible. If your cancellation occurs outside 14-days from the scheduled start of your stay, you will receive a refund less a 20% non-refundable deposit. Within 14-days of the event, unfortunately we are not able to provide any refund on payments you have made. However, you may substitute another person at any time before the start of the stay, with written notice (via email or post). See refund terms below for associated event cancellations.

Event Cancellation

The performance of the Agreement by either party shall be subject to force majeure, including but not limited to fire, flood, natural disaster, war or threat of war, acts or threats of terrorism, civil disorder, unauthorized strikes, governmental regulation or advisory, recognized health threats as determined by the World Health Organization, the Centres for Disease Control, or local government authority or health agencies (including but not limited to the health threats of COVID-19, H1N1, or similar infectious diseases), curtailment of transportation facilities, or other similar occurrence beyond the control of the parties, where any of those factors, circumstances, situations, or conditions or similar ones prevent, dissuade, or unreasonably delay at least 25 percent of prospective Event attendees from appearing at the venue, or where any of them make it illegal, impossible, inadvisable, or commercially impracticable to hold the Event or to fully perform the terms of the Agreement.
The Agreement may be cancelled by either party, without liability, damages, fees, or penalty, for any one or more of the above reasons, by written notice to the other party. Any unused deposits or amounts paid may be transferred to mutually agreeable new dates if the cancellation was actioned by the Event organiser, or a refund offered if cancelled by Capernwray.
